My girl is about 3 months old and is very picky about the veggies she eats. She won't touch broccoli, peppers, green beans to name a few. I am wondering if this is common for young guinea pigs? I hope she grows out of it because I want her to be able to eat a variety of different veggies.

Some guinea pigs don't like particular things so it's worth trying lots of different veg. Also try giving it several times as some pigs take a while to like something new. You can try cutting things up or presenting them differently. My girls wouldn't eat green beans to start with and then I started slicing them lengthways and the fussy so and sos started eating them. They also stopped eating carrots so I put some in at night when I went to bed and it was all gone in the morning. Carrot is now a favourite night time snack (and taken out of the tea time veg allowance so they're not getting any extra). My girls also love broccoli stem but won't touch the tops.

You can also hide food in a papper bag filled with hay as piggies love to find things, this may get her nibbling.

You may just need to find the food that she really likes. Mine love basil, parsley and melon but hate dill and strawberries. Does she live with other pigs? Piggies often learn to eat new foods from other pigs even if it's just because there's competition for the available goodies.
