Picnic time for all the guinea pigs!

All the piggies got to go outside today, the first time for Poppy and her babies!
I have no outside hutches for them yet so I turned the boys cage upside down and just used the top off the new familys cage.

Poppy thought it was great to have a break from the stresses of being a mommy while the babies got to grips with walking in the grass. :))

Junior and Lucky soon got to grips with their new surroundings and ventured from their safe haven on the blanket to see what mom was up to.

Lucky gets to say hello to his uncle Jesse, although I think Jesse was more interested in Poppy

They were absolutely devastated when it came time for them to go back inside but I was afraid the babies ears would be sunburned. They seemed more forgiving when a big pile of grass was thrown into each cage though! ;)

I can't believe I have five guinea pigs now! @)
They all seem easily pleased though.

Also, could anyone tell me what kind of guinea pigs I own?
I don't really understand the descriptions so I can't name my own pigs technically speaking. Thanks :)
 
aww so so cute :) and the mummy and cream coloured baby look like abysinians to me :)
 
Gizmo looks like an aby/longhair cross. Jesse is a tricolour white.black/cream smooth.

Poppy looks like another aby or aby x.

One pup is a smooth red/white mismakred dutch and the other a cream aby or aby x, depending on whether his fur grows when he is older.
 
Great pictures and they all look so happy on the grass. x) The babies are soo cute and of course the other piggys. :)

I have a Gizmo too and he likes nothing better than stuffing his face too! It must be the name. :))

He'll be available to a good home in 8 weeks!
I think you'd have a bit of travelling to do collect him though! @)

Ha ha gotta love Gizmos!
My fella got his name cause he's the same colour as Gizmo the Gremlin and he sings like him too! He's so talented! :(|)
