here is the picture of the black mark on my guinea pigs back it isn't raised

Whereabouts on the body is the mark?

Could it be a scab that that darkened blood dried on it? Maybe best to get a vet to check her out. How long has it been there?

i have just noticed it and i handle her everyday

It may just be a cut from her scratching. She may have nipped the skin. If it has just appeared then **** a scratch. HOpe she is okay. One of my girls was forever nipping her skin and getting similar marks. A vet would be able to put your mind at rest though. Good luck..
