I'm doing my research so i can give him the best care

Good for you and I don't blame you wanting to keep the wee fella if no one claims him, have you joined Rabbit United forum?

thanks everyone :) and yes i joined sunday night after i found him becuse i didnt know anything about rabbits, but id like to think i know the basics now though :) but its only been 2 days ive still got time to learn

WOW! That is one cute bunny. The name really suits him.

i know I'm just glad he ended up in my garden! god knows what could of happend

Awww - he's an amazing cutie! x)

Good on you for keeping him!

thankyou everyone, but I'm still learning about rabbit care because he was abit of a suprise so if you have any important info you then please feel free to message me or just let me know :)

His eye looks alot better from the first photos you posted. Glad he's alright...he is absolutely gorgeous!

yeah and i think he feels better for it because from what ive found out on the rabbit forum he binky'd earlier :)

I know they are like guinea pigs and shouldn't have iceburg lettuce. They enjoy biting throught wires and can become aggressive if not handled enough, frankly one of mine did anyways.

Don't give them alot of fruit either...only as a treat maybe once a week and not alot of it when you do give it. It can upset their tummys.

Best thing to do with all veg and fruit is to gradually introduce it as you don't know what it might of had and been alright with.

I gave my boy celery just after we got him and he had diarrhoea. High water content foods like celery and cucumber aren't a good idea anyway.

i love the hair, lovelly looking rabbit i'm sure the rabbit will be happy with you

:):) I'm in the process of pricing up a decent sized shed for the garden because i dont want to have a cage because he's going to grow quite big so he'll need the room .. but while hes little i still have a bit of time to get the shed sorted!

thankyou everyone :) I'm suprised he doesnt hate me yet though because of the eye drops and medicine poor thing
he actually came to me when i opened the hutch today though :)

He's a gorge bunny. Is he an outdoor? Any chance he could be an indoor rabbit? I say this because I have 2 house rabbits and they are one of the best pets I have ever had - they provide so much entertainment that I can't imagine any other way now!

Suppose the main things that come to mind are neutering, VHD and Myxi jabs and getting him a friend! :))

Feel free to give me a message if you have any rabbit questions, I do rabbit home visits for the Manchester RSPCA and obviously have the knowledge from my 2 :))

he is gorgeous! i have a lionhead rabbit myself so maybe I'm a bit biased, but lionheads are the best! so pleased he will have a good home with you, thank god you found him before a fox did!
