Pig bedding

Help, I always use "Snowflake" for bedding, and meadow hay to munch on ( plus treats of course ), I asked my lady friend to pick me up some HAY and she came back with 3 bails of rabbit STRAW... would this be OK as bedding ? the hay racks always have loads of food in it but worried if the straw would be too rough for them as bedding or even if they eat it ? Thanks for any info, Allan.

I’m afraid you can’t use straw - it is too sharp and can cause injuries (plus they can’t eat it)

I agree. Guinea pigs can’t have straw. Could you not take the straw back and exchange it for hay?

Thank you for your soon revert, I was a bit worried about using it, I will donate it to the first person I can find with a rabbit, once again many thanks.
