Ok,
so thinking of going to Chesterfield RSPCA today to get a boar as Pog still seems a little lonely since the loss of Pig.

should I be taking Pog with me to ensure the piggy I pick is ok with him.

also as Pog is young at around 13 weeks should I be looking for a piggy of similar age.

thanks

You're completely right to go to a rescue where Pog can choose his own friend, however I think individual RSPCA branches vary on their ability to do this, so I think it's probably best to give them a call and have a chat with them to see what facilities they have re: bonding.

If it's not something they're able to offer, have a look at the Piggy Bank UK recommended rescues map to see what other rescues that may offer bonding are in your area https://maps.google.co.uk/maps/ms?m...ll=52.643063,-1.230469&spn=6.775737,19.753418
