I am away to glastonbury in june and it will be the first time i have to get someone to help piggy sit. I have five all together. My mate kerry is hopefully going to help as she used to be a gp owner. But surely it's a bit rude asking her to look after five for a week?no?
I have another animal friendly friend but she has a one year old baby in the house. Could ask parents but i don't think they would have a clue how to take care of them as they are both very forgetful.
What do you lot do when you are off on holiday?

If you were near me I would look after them for you :)

We don't tend to go away often, but there's always someone around to look after them :)

Hopefully having pig boarders when shed all up and finished :)

sorry too far away to help you, i'm gonna have the same problem if i need to go away this year.

wow didn't know there was such a thing. Not many in Ireland though I am sure. You are all too kind! They should have a guinea pig sitting service at glastonbury with wee tents and hay fields!

my eldest son (25) and mum look after them all between them and do a great job thank goodness

I haven't gone away for quite a while now but a neighbour use to offer to look after them for me. Now that I have more though I doubt she would. I would board them now at least that way they are being looked after by someone who knows what they are doing. :)

Our neighbours did the first time and the last time i got my parent too as Duke was ill and needed more TLC :smitten: They did a great job :smitten:

sent them an email and waiting on a reply. very hard to find places that take gp's in in Ireland.
