PIG-UN report #4: new members!

After some delicate negotiations between the leaders of the UN and the new alliance (over a series of gourmet meals of course), an agreement about the new membership is being reached.

The delegations arrive at the green table

With so many members, some jostling is inevitable for the official photo shoot

Some established members are a bit more ruthless, but are finding the cavies of the new alliance hard to shift on their positions

However, finally everypig has found a space

Sadly, the secretary general of the PIG-UN has a habit of droning on during the opening ceremony...

... so that most members can't wait to get stuck in with the agenda!

Although there are a couple of shifts as new alliances are forming...

...even small(ish) cavies have to admit that the negotiations with the new members have been hard, but fair.

All members can leave with a full belly and the promise of more to come!

I love these updates, I really do. I love the way they are written and of course, who can't love each one of the tribe! Wonderful to see how well Cariad and Ceri has settled in, and I'm glad that their first official PIG-UN meeting went well.

Another diligent and wonderful report. I simply adore these updates, and usually end up with tears (of laughter) running down my face - I don't know which is best, the photographs themselves or the outstanding commentary.

Wiebke, you have excelled yourself photographically this time - and your family is a huge tribute to you, the way they all live so well together.

Thank you so much for sharing them - it means so much to me especially, not having my own piggies.

Rounding up is easier than you think!

They turn themselves in when evening comes, and otherwise a little rattle of the crunchies bag ot the cucumber night night tidbit works wonders!

The "bribery" is a special handful of my precious last fresh grass from the lawn, carefully selected and handcut with scissors!

I do this as well and am sure my neighbours wonder what on earth I am doing cutting the grass with scissors and collecting it in a big tupperware container. I imagine them saying poor woman can't even afford a lawnmower - shame. If only they knew what its like to be a piggie slave!|)
