My girl had a abcest awhile ago. And there is always what looks like a big lump or more a big area of fattie skin.

I've felt it and it's fine it isn't hard or anything.

Just wondering if this is normal after they get such a thing?

I've been checking it for awhile and she's fine and it hasn't changed at all. Just feels like flabby skin

I think its worth getting this checked by the vet, abscesses can refill if drained or even return if removed. Was the abscess just drained, or was the whole capsule surgically removed? And how ling ago since it was treated? A vet can easily do a quick needle biopsy anyway and let you know if there is any infection returning, or possibly just fluid or blood can accumulate in the abscess space. Our skinny pig Tallulah had a huge build up of fluid in the space where her abscess was removed, bigger than the original abscess- a seroma. Always worth a vet check if in any doubt!

It was about 8 months ago I think. She was going to get a operation. But it burst while she was at the vets. And they clean it out.

There was always a big flabby area there after.

I agree with @PigglePuggle that a trip to the vets is advisable.
My Jemimah had a persistent abscess which would recur every so often until I finally opted for surgery.
