Okay, this is the last thing I wanted too be asking, but, tomorrow (tuesday) will be a week since I lost Squeak.

I'm still waiting for the call from the vet too say his ashes are ready too pick up.

To anyone who has had their piggies cremated, how long did you have too wait for their ashes? Does the time vary?

I'm just getting a little impatient, I want my Squeak back and it's too late to give the vets a call too ask, haha!

I've only been involved with piggies ashes once. Probably the most unusual thing I've carried in my car when I brought some back on a piggy train with some live piggies too. I would expect there to be something like a weekly turnround but best to check with your vet. At present I still use our garden as a piggy cemetery x

In theory it is a week at my vets but they only have one day a week where they pick up and drop off so if I lose my animal after the pick up has been done that week then I end up waiting two weeks.

I chose cremation so I could have the vase next too Bubble, so they can always be together!

Using the garden also isn't an option for me really, for family reasons I moved too my grandmas and she doesn't have anywhere on the garden too use as a pet cemetery! So cremation was the best option in more than one way! I also like the thought of being able too take my animals with me if I moved when they are cremated!

A week seems about right then! So I may have a phone call in the next couple of days! I hope!

You could always call to ask, I reckon you just missed their pick up. I hate talking like that but it is something we have learnt over the last few years.

I work in a vet and it takes 4 days to a week generally as we have 2 collections. A week we normally say to clients though. I'm sorry for your loss x

I think I'm gunna give them a call tomorrow. Just incase I missed it!

It's possible I could have, they may have rang my grandad while I was out or something and he's probably forgotten all about it!
