Piggie cuddle is good for Stress

My piggies are still young and are still getting use to me so they don't like sitting for a cuddle for too long. Today however seems to be different....

So the story goes something like this: Today i have been trying to sort out what modules i am going to take for my uni course, but things have not been going the right way and i have been getting very annoyed with the university. (its the same every year) After finally sorting out a big problem another one came along so i decided i had, had enough and needed a cuddle. I pick up Chika, and place her in my arms and sit stroking her. I go to put her down after what is normally a long time for a cuddle with her. As i go to move her, she rumbles and looks at me with a face that says "Don't you dare move me Mummy, you need a good cuddle". She then carries on sitting in my arms enjoying a nice cuddle as i de-stress. She is still sat on my lap snuggled in to my legs enjoying her time making mummy happy again.

It appears that even though they think i am a little scary and cuddles are too much, when i am upset/ stressed they know they are needed. It made me feel very happy and loved by Chika

I totally have to agree!

Cuddles are the best after a stressful day. My lot seem to see it as an excuse to fall asleep during cuddles, which is lovely since they don't wriggle about but on the other hand, they glare at me if I wake them to get a glass of water!

Mine are like this, they weren't used to being cuddled at all (being rescued from a breeder) but they seem to calm down when I've had a bad day and need a podgy piggie cuddle And the uni stuff is always stressful (I've just graduated thank god!) but it's all for a good reason, and at least you have your pigs to get you through

Only had my two for a week tomorrow! I can not wait till we get to the cuddling stage. I am trying to take it slow but it is very hard to resist the cuteness!
