Out of interest (ok nosiness lol) what food do you feed your piggies & at what times?

For example, breakfast - dry mix/pellets & hay 9am
dinner - fresh veg sometimes fruit & hay 5pm

etc...........? It just would be interesting to see who gets what & when (piggies that is!) :))

mine get breakfast about 7.30 today they had lettuce,
they then have 3 veggies for dinner between 6-8pm
then hay, fresh water, nugget top up and supper (another veggie) about 10pm.

i do hay top ups in the morning to if they need it. and water in the summer.

Sounds like a 5 star Piggy Hotel :)) I sometimes wonder if feeding them veggies twice a day is too much :))

Mine have unlimited hay and pellets(yeah I know they are not meant to but I dont care) At 7.00 Am they have a cucumber slice spread with vitamin C and then the rest of the cucumber. Some days they will have a piece of apple or a grape at 14.00. Then they have vegetables at 16.00.

they get there 5 a day throughout the day and i still get shouted at if someone has a carrier bag or opens the fridge door. thats where the cucumber comes in :)

Unlimited hay and pellets, first veg of the day at about 7.30 then again at 5.00pm
well, they are only little:)

With Rodney, he got his breakfast between 6 and 7.30 depending on what time I had to be up. Breakfast consisted of a hay top up, and half a cup of veggies and a top up of his dry food

If I was going out to work I would hide a few veggie treats in amongst the hay for him to find later.

Then when I got home I would top up his hay again, and give him a piece of cucumber. This was to soften the fact that I had left him (with teddy). I also thought he wouldnt mind so much me going out if he knew that every time I came home I would give him a treat :)

Then at bedtime, if he needed more hay he would get it and sometimes a veggie for his bedtime snack :)

Breakfast about 9am ish- pile of mixed veg, today they had broccoli, carrot, cucumber and some mixed lettuce leaves.

Tea about 5pm ish- they have another lot of veg- peppers, little gem lettuce and usually something else.

Supper about 9pm ish- they have there bowl of mixed dried Wagg guinea crunch.

They also have several large handfuls of hay at various times during the hay and also grass, dandelion leaves some days.

For breakfast mine get hay and dry food top, fresh water and a bowl of mixed salad and veggies in the morning around 8.30am

Hay top during the day as required, usually multiple times.

For Dinner they get another bowl of mixed veggies/salad, hay top up and dry food top up if needed this is between 9 - 10pm.

The salad and veggies usually consist of, celery, cucumber, cherry toms, lettuce, carrot, spinach, broccoli, cabbage, peppers, spring greens, kurly kale, ocassionaly fruit. not all at once i might add, usually 2 or 3 of these at a time depending what we have got in the fridge. There are 3 piggies in our set up and the share the above everyday.

Maybe twice a week they get a readigrass treat and occasionally they get a frsh grass and dandilion treat.

We have two meals a day...

Breakfast about 7am or when we get up at the weekend. Usually a bit of lettuce, a carrot or apple and a top up of nuggets.

Dinner when we get home from work about 5ish and then they free range til bedtime so they might get lettuce or cucumber, squash, vegg cuttings from our tea adn a wee treat when they're out and about. Sometimes they scavenge off our plates too!

Mine have a bowl of dried food every day, plus 3 different fruit or veg at about 7.30am, then at tea time another 2 different fruit or veg

so today has been Grapes, apple and celery for Breakfast

Then its Cabbage and Marrow for Tea

And a pile of Hay every day

The veg and fruit depends on what we are eating.
