Piggie goodies...

OOhhh it's so exciting- my delivery of piggie goodies has just arrived

I've got a nice big wooden house, Brush and clippers, massive water bottle, big gravity feeder and a nice pink pet carrier (Still to get food and hay)

Already got some nice fleeces from Primark and am awaiting some of those lovely cosies, tunnel and wooden toys from Polly

All i need to now is finish the cage off and then i can put the goodies in- i will post some pics once it's all completed

Does anyone else get as excited as me or am i just sad lol?

No you are not sad - because if you are sad so am I and everyone else on the forum!.

I have gone from excited to |)|) now I am in the last week or so till we get our girls x)x)x)x).

I can't wait to go and get them, and I am just doing the last minute finishing off bits this week.

I am on to the cage bedspreads now which are taking forever to sew! My days off this week have been spent sewing and I am nearly halfway now, however by the end of the weekend I am confident it will all be finished.

When are you getting your piggies - have you got any reserved yet?

Haha id be soooo excited too! I would suggest, multiples of items though. Two house's and doubles of everything inside the cage (especially with boars) not sure what your getting. i tend to sterilise my bottles every week, so always handy to have more than 1. Aswell as if you have a rather naughty piggy like one of my girls who pulls out the balls in water bottles!

I get all excited when waiting for piggy things too!
I've got a hay rack, pigloo, wooden shelter for them to hide under or sit on, a hammock and a grass house coming soon!
I'm sooo excited!

Well i do infact have 2 sows reserved but still have a couple of weeks before i pick them up they are already bonded so hopefully there won't be any disagreements but i'm prepared if there are. I already have a bowl and water bottle but decided to get the feeder and the big bottle as well, i will be putting up a towel for a hidey corner and have ordered two cosies so they can have one each

GPEIW- i really do know how you feel- i get more and more excited lol, though no one told me how hard it would be to build C&C and i'm nowhere near finished- it's a good job i have a few weeks to spare before they arrive lol!

I had to buy a new comb, because I'd lost my old one, (now found in a coat pocket) and I got so excited because I got to go looking at piggy stuff.

Though I do think in some cases some of it can be false economy, I used to buy all sorts of stuff eg the veggie kebab thing and they got left ignored or in the case of cosies, pooped on, but never snuggled in, so now I get excited about new cardboard boxes and Primark bags, because my piggies get more fun out of them than anything else. Oh and I have a collection of empty loo rolls on my landing windowsill which I'm quite obsessive about should anybody try to throw them away. Now that does make me a sad person.
