Hiya,

They are very dangerous and can actually kill a pig or small animal if they twist and the owner pulls they can break their back. No need to use them at all really. :) They should actually be banned!

I think they are awful and as S&T says totally unnecessary. I am really surprised that the RSPCA don't ban them.

I have to agree with you all i think they're terrible have you ever seen a piggie in one? they look distressed :'( :'( :'( :'(
My vets advise not to use them O0

I've never seen them before and can't think of when you would use one?

I have seen several people use a similar device for taking a parrot outside

Its a money making gimmick and no way should they be used for a piggie :tickedoff: floor/run time in a secure run is all the exercise a piggie needs. These could injure a piggie. Harnesses and leads are for dogs :)

I completely agree. A pig doesnt need a lead or a harness or a collar or anything else that companies decide are adequate for them. Since getting my pigs and shopping around for whats out there for them, i now realise, there are so many products available purely to make money, not for the good of the animal. Please avoid these.
