So I went too pets at home today (I don't visit a lot, but I needed some hamster bedding)

And I found a piggie magazine! I couldn't resist! Even if it was £4! Which I think it disgusting for a magazine!

But it's piggies! So I had too!

There's a beautiful piggie model on the front too!

I really love all things piggie too much!

Ahh I've been getting this for a while now! Its so nice that they have it in P@H. Which reminds me I still need to pick one up!

You can subscribe online which is cheaper, they have only recently started selling in Pets at Home. You may see a few familiar pigs in there as Wiebke has a section and Dindypig is part of the team.

Ohhh, thankyou! I might have a look at that! £4 is kinda expensive too be a regular thing!

I've bought the last 2 issues ( issues 20 and 21) and have found a lot of interesting articles in them. Issue 21 has a very informative article on abscesses which I found very helpful since my boar has recently had an abscess.
It's well worth considering subscribing to the online version. Here is the link ...

Thanks for the link! It's a bit cheaper on there, may have to subscribe, it will save quite a bit of money in the long run!

Just to say that nobody gets payed for the articles; the cost is unfortunately all in the printing... But the more the magazine gets sold, the better the chances that it will get taken up by one of the major distributors at some stage. ;)

You can subscribe to a printed version (a good idea for a birthday present) or to an online version, which are both cheaper.

Forum member karonus is also a regular contributor with his caravanning piggies stories.

The cost is just so expensive :(

It's a lovely magazine though! Definitely worth the money! I think I'm definitely gunna go for one of the cheaper options though! :D so it's easier too collect!

I didn't see any in my local PAH so i'm going to look into subscribing :)

It costs less than coffee and cake at Costa, is colour printed, full of great information, beautiful pics and lasts forever if you keep it safe. From what I've read It's a labour of love for the team and just about covers its costs. I think at £4.00 every 2 months it's great value.
