Piggie not eating- please help :(

Hi my 10 month old pig has just had his molars filed under GA yesterday.
The vet says it must be genetic as he's so young and they will need to be filed every few weeks.
She said we ought to consider having him put to sleep as all this won't be fair to him.

I just don't want to consider that, he's so young and full of life, he's a real character and isn't even ill.

What else can we do?
I have seen you mention treating piggies with dental problems and I'd really like some advice.
I am in Yorkshire but we are prepared to travel.

Thanks for any help.

There are alot of pigs get regular dental treatment without GA but you need a good vet to do this. Perhaps that start a new thread with your piggies problem and we can help :).
