Piggie safe paint

I'm making a piggie house in college, and I'm not sure what paint to use. Can anyone reccomend anything, would child friendly paint be ok?
Has anyone any suggestions of colours

If you search for animal safe paint various companies that sell it will come up. You can get samples of all different colours better than buying a large tin. Most animal safe paints are water based and are safe for birds, mice and rabbits. If you're unsure that it would be suitable for guinea pigs email the manufacturer and they'll let you know. Usually there is a minimum drying time of about 2 days before you can introduce a pet to the painted area.
