Sorry for asking some more daft questions but what is a healthy weight for a sow and a boar.

Depends on ages I would say my heaviest boar is around 1300g and my heaviest sow is 1350g they are both a year old. It does vary though. :)

The size of pigs can differ greatly. What we're really after is a pretty much constant weight once the piggy is full grown - usually about a year old-ish.

thanks mine never seem to really change much to be honest and as most of them was rescued a while ago now i dont even no ages but body wise they seem no difference.I just wondered if there was a underweight or overweight weight

I really like chunkier piggies and feel if they do have a bit of excess baggage then if they fall ill they have a bit more of a buffer if you see what I mean!?!?!?

Just keep an eye in case any seem to lose weight rapidly - a sure sign of an underlying illness although piggies are notoriously good at hiding things when they are ill.

i was told that about them hiding illnesses such strong characters.
I mainly check them daily so i will keep this up x

I've just weighed Daisy and Clover: Daisy is 1200g, Clover 1100g. I've always thought they were real heffalumps!
