Yesterday I went to the pet store to look for a new hidey for Cocoa. As I was walking down the piggy aisle, there was a group of teenage girls looking at the guinea pigs. It was clear they didn't want to get one, but just to hold them. As I saw the employee give them a guinea pig I felt so bad for the poor thing, the girls were loud and all over it. I'm just glad that the girls did not get that piggy

Pet shops do that unfortunately. They shouldn't let just anybody handle the piggies just those who are serious about looking after them properly but they don't. Maybe they think that if they let anyone handle the pigs then pester power will give them a sale

Agreed! 🙌

Ugh... they shouldn't let people are aren't interested in buying handle the pets. Just causes stress and potential injuries.
