When we adopted Lily and George a year ago, I changed their dry food from a muesli mix to Zupreem Timothy Naturals. I did loads of research at the time and found this to be a very healthy choice and the local vet agreed.

Recently, my online pet supplier sent a free sample of Science Selective. I have been giving them 1 or 2 nuggets each per day to try and they go WILD for it! As soon as I open the bag they push their little noses through the bars and once they've had one, they literally beg for more. When I then fill their bowl with Zupreem they are less enthusiastic although most of it gets eaten over the course of the day.

I'm thinking maybe I should change them over to Science Selective? My only concern is that they do not appear to be hay based, unlike the Zupreem. Has anyone had a piggie who reacted badly to Science Selective?

We don't have much choice where I am, so I can literally only choose between Burgess Excell and science selective.
I had mine in Burgess for the first 6 months I had them but now in December the supplier was out of stock, so I bought a bag of science selective and started gradually moving them onto it by adding just a few nuggets a day. But omg, from the moment they tasted it they've been crazy about it! Gobbling those pellets before the Burgess ones (which they never minded before they tasted SS), and leaving the Burgess until last only begrudgingly eating them an hour or so later.

So I have no idea on how good they are, but also found my piggies love them.
