Piggies Casting.

Once in a while one of my piggies casts loads! She is white/ tan and short haired. Whenever I have her out for lap time I am literally COVERED in white hairs. It is crazy! It comes off as I'm stroking her so usually leaves a little pile at her bottom end. It has only started again the past week or so.

Anyone else get this with their piggies? And does it happen for a particular reason do you think? Makes sense in summer but not in winter

Aww, she is a little molter!
I think some piggies can just molt a lot with hairs generally. Lola is probably the biggest molter out of my girls.

My 2 cast a lot too. They are also light piggies. Maybe that's something to do with it. Either that or we notice more as the hairs are lighter. Lol.

Not a day goes by that my clothes don't have piggy hair on them! I like to think of it as taking them wherever I go
