Piggies don't use water bottle?!

Hi,

My 2 piggies just don't use their water bottle, they do get alot of fresh veg every evening so i'm assuming that's why (They were use to using one before i got them but didn't eat as much veg as they do now).

The bottle definitely works and is changed everyday but never gets used- the level never changes and it just seems pointless having one there- though i leave it just in case.


Has anyone else found this is the case with their piggies?

Oh and i know they are getting liquid inside them as they like to wee on me during cuddle time :(|) plus their favourite place to wee apart from on me is in the house which i put newspaper underneath and it deifinatly gets weed on all the time :))
 
When I first got my piggies I never saw them drink, although the level in the water bottles was going down so I knew they were drinking. As the warmer weather comes in I'm sure they will take to their bottle..
 
I've heard some piggies just don't drink. Don't worry, if they are healthy and weeing they're probably alright! Keep an eye on it for summer, though.
 
I've never had this personally, but I had a friend with a piggie called Twinkle. I went to her house once and thought she was being horrible for not giving her pig a water bottle (I was about 12 at the time). She said he just didn't drink, but had veggies instead, especially cucumber. I thought she was just being lazy, but she showed me, he just didn't like drinking!

They do have cucumber everyday so maybe that's why- obviously nto a problem for them but just concerned me as it obviously isn't the norm for piggies to not use the watre bottle.
