I was sat with my 18 m/o male guinea pig Loki on my chest and noticed him chewing at my T-shirt right near some rhinestones. Before I managed to move him away from it, he’d pulled off a rhinestone and was chewing it. I couldn’t see it in his mouth and I could feel his jaw going proper grinding and crunching this plastic rhinestone. I’m panicking that he’s end up with a blockage or gonna rip his intestines from chewing the plastic and making it sharp. I’ve read people saying that their pigs have eaten plastic bags and stuff and it’s been fine, they’ve just pooped it out but I’ve not seen anybody’s pig eat solid hard plastic. I’m so worried about him! He seems fine. He’s back in his hutch popcorning around because the dog is by the hutch and the boys love the dog.
Any advice guys? Anything that might make him poop a bit quicker? Anything I should look out for? Please help me to stop worrying!

if if is just a little one, then it is likely to just pass through.
Keep an eye on his general health including whether he is eating, pooping properly etc. But don’t panic about it Any sign that he has a blockage then straight to the vet.
