Piggies eating correx

Hi

We bought a sheet of correx and made a mezzanine floor in our Trixie 150 cage. It was easily to cut with scissors which makes me think it may be a soft version as I have read that some correx blunts Stanley knives. Our pigs are nibbling at the correx. We are concerned that it may be harmful to them?

Hmmm eating the correx - I shouldn't think it would cause too much of a problem? Some guineas chew on plastic igloos too but they are used by a lot of owners.

Out of curiosity, where did you buy your Trixie 150 from?

I have fixed plastic strips to the top of mine and cable tied it on as mine ate a big hole out of the cage last year whilst I was away on holiday and they were being pig sitted! I have a link which I will post below which shows you how to do it. I followed this exactly and it is great. don't do it without cable ties as the strips pop off and drive you insane trying to get them back on!

how wierd is it the full link is on my bit but it is just showing as white and no text. The part of the link you have doesn't seem to work mallethead

We took the correx out in the end as the mezzanine floor we had made with it made cleaning the cage difficult.

We got the Trixie 150 from Dabners although I think someone else got theirs cheaper from Jollyes.
