Piggies Food

I'm not sure how it's meant to be done but I just sliced mine like cucumber and gave it as is. They nibbled briefly the first 2 times and have basically ignored it since then.
Just to confirm though, it was a small one, only slightly thicker than my thumb, so pips were barely worth noting (to be honest I don't even notice any) and very soft, not like pumpkin pips more like how cucumber pips are kind of part of the flesh amd not noticeable as pips.

I just sliced it like a cucumber . . . But they took one little nibble and buried the rest!

I just slice courgette but it's not a favourite with my piggies. They love runner beans broken into small pieces though.

My pigs bury any food they really don't like. So far; peas&beans of any variety and courgette

My piggies simply drop the food they don't like and ignore it. Not that they have disliked much...

I have read opposing arguments regarding giving guinea pigs runner beans. Does anyone else on the GPF give their guinea pigs runner nears?

My piggies loved it, but that was this time, next time they probably won't like it. :lol!:
