Piggies house

I got a new bed/house for my piggies, how do I convince them to sleep..go any where near it? I've put hay in it...some veggies but they just are not having it. Also when it gets nearer winter I was going to buy them some pigaloos ... Do I need three? As I have three cuties? P.s they did not like having their hair cut!

Sometimes plastic scares them, if it's a plastic house. I tend to let it soak in soapy water till the smell is gone. A house per pig is great. I try to go for a house per pig plus 1 myself in small groups, as that seems to please them even more.

Yes I agree, a house per pig. You'll find that they don't always use the same house every time but there'll always be a house each!

I work on one "item" per piggy ish so for my pair they usually have a cuddle cup, cuddle sack and a tunnel for example rather than three identical thingys works for me mine :-)

Thank you it's a fleece type bed thing, they are still cuddling up behind their teddy they have.

I think we need to see a pic of them cuddling up with their teddy, I bet they look really cute.

We had to wash our fleece cosies before they would venture near them... Even then it took a few hours but no stopping them now they love them!
