Piggies nervous because of weather?

Are my lot just having a strange mood day or are any other piggies freaked out by extreme weather? Storm Ali is just starting to blow through (the wind is howling and my patio chairs just blew across the garden) and all the piggies are very unsettled, everyone is hiding and Jezebel's floofy fur is standing on end! The are all indoors and perfectly safe, just very nervous and easily spooked today...
 
Probably is the weather. We don’t have it as bad down here but it is windy - about 40-45mph. I’ve just had to put my two out in their run for a bit while I am here to keep an eye on them as it has got warm in their shed, fortunately I’ve got a sheltered spot in the garden for them to play in. They don’t seem to be behaving differently because of the wind though (still running about, eating grass and generally winding each other up) but they are a bit grumpy with me as I took them to their nails clipped an hour ago
 
Maybe its not the weather, maybe mine are just upset because they saw me put their fleecy hideys in the washing machine!
Little do they know that 2 new ones arrived in the post this morning, plus a new carrot cottage :)

Ralph is very skittish today - I out it down to the weather. He’s been running circuits of their cage and patrolling the girls constantly. Holly is getting fed up of being “rounded up” by him.
 
Well whether the weather was a factor or not, everyone has come out of their hideys now and it seems Puggle and Clover are both coming into season. Which makes them both much more friendly and outgoing luckily. Theo is a very busy happy husboar and he is doing his very best rumblestrutting and being allowed to lick their ears without complaints :)
 
We have noticed this in the past too. I think it can be a change in air pressure. We also get howling wind down the chimney which the boys aren't too keen on. Neither am I come to that!
 
We have a strong wind down south but my piggies have been in the run on the patio all day and have just been acting normally. They didn't like it that they couldn't go on the grass today and were complaining a bit but the grass and the ground were too wet after the rain last night. I gave them some grass instead (long stuff that the wind had dried ) then they stopped complaining. They'll be happy little piggies after cuddle time tonight as I gave the hutch a very thorough clean today.:) (I clean them out once a week and once every 3-4 weeks give the hutch a thorough going over spraying everything with F10 and wiping everything down with an F10 soaked cloth which takes about an hour and a half to two hours.
 
My lot are not liking the sound of the wind at all, I usually have all the windows on the latch to let some fresh air in but ive had to shut them due to the noise!
 
He was ok, at the same time, three others were blown over on the opposite carriageway, so it was quite busy for a few hours!
 
The café in my local bus station does a really nice Spanish tortilla and I thought I'd go check and see if they had any today, and as I was standing in the queue, the weather shifted. I decided I didn't care what they had to eat, I was having lunch before I was going anywhere!

That is some heavy rain there Lorcan! Only a few heavy showers down here! This afternoon was lovely and sunny.

The entire ground was a puddle, it was mesmerising. I heard it on the roof before I saw it outside.

I had a raincoat, but it'd be next to useless against that rainstorm. Kind of glad I don't have to worry about piggies being upset with the weather.
 
My back fence has been damaged and our decorative chimney pots have been smashed. The gang will have to remain in their hutches till it's repaired. :(
