Piggies on ebay free with hutch

Poor babes. I thought you couldnt sell animals on e-bay? its in very small print isnt it about the actual piggies. i suppose they are only technically selling the hutch. Thats really bad :tickedoff:
 
You cant sell animals hence the reason I have reported it
way to far for me otherwise i would have bid.
 
I have sent them this rather moody message/question -

"Are you aware that it is both against moral and eBay guidelines to sell your guinea pigs as "optional"?

You could be giving them to absolutely anyone - someone who could know absolutely nothing about their care, who could neglect them. In a worse case scenario, even someone who would abuse them.

Surely you should have done the responsible thing and looked for a home for them or gave them to a rescue?

They are animals, not objects. Do you not care about their well-being at all?"

Nathan we have found on the reptile forums and the chinchilla forums a polite email pointing them in the direction of the forum works much better.
If they start getting abuse they clam up and get abusive back
 
I have reported them to ebay but did email them a POLITE email about handing them in to a rescue.
 
Thanks to all that have emailed them.I really would not know what to say :-\
Lets hope the seller takes note.

The guinea pigs have already been rehomed in a loving environment, and we have advised all intersted parties in this auction that they are not available. The Guineas were never listed for Sale anyway.

Poor little things id bid if i was near. Look at the picture no hay insight! Pleased they have been pointed in the right direction lets hope they follow up on it. :(

The hay might be in the bedroom area do not judge and condemn the seller for something you cannot see.
 
It's been removed from e-bay. just clicked on the link and it said listing unavailable.
