Sarah from Chucklebunnies
Adult Guinea Pig
Nico, who has been hiding at the back on the cage and sitting in wee, had to have a wash. Just warm water. Here he is, having his bottom gently dried, totally relaxed across my arm! I didn't think he would be happy at all, but he seemed to really like being pandered to. Unfortunately it didn't stop his 'hiding in shadows' habit.
Nico, at the back....
Nico, relaxing on my arm...
All the piggies got out onto the grass, they are all showing definite signs of knowing what to do with it now. They still try to hide from me when I take a piccie though...
Alison brought round the carrot thinnings just as she had promised to do when she planted the seeds ages ago. You can just see the tiny carrots on the ends of the tops.
This was given to all piggies as part of tea time veggies. They pronounced it GOOD!
And my girls showed how not to eat nicely....
Finally, here is a picture of what I can see just five minutes ago from my computer chair.
Other news, all are well. Nico hiding at the back is making him almost permanently whiffy and ammoniacal. I am only bothered because it will lead to sore bits so I will continue to wash just his bottom and tummy with warm water to keep him clean and will try to encourage him to go into the hay trays. I think he has a problem getting in and out. He did get cuddles with Alison and Jon today, he rather enjoys being cuddled and is showing less 'get off me' and more 'mmmm nice' body language. Charlotte is becoming more demanding, good oh. There were no wheeks for veggies early tonight as everyone was still rather full of grass. The piggies would like to say that the menu is very good and I would like to add that there will be a reduction in overall veggitibbles reflecting the fact that they filled up on grass and had carrot tops.
I hope you're having fun still, yesterday sounded really cool.
