Hi

My piggies often sleep apat fom each other, one upstairs, one downstairs...I thought they'd always snuggle up...

they rumble strut around eachother but thats about it, no biting etc. they are about..um...9/10wks old now. Do other peoples pigs do it and do I need to kep my eye out for fighting? no worried, just interested

I have four girls living together and they all sleep apart.rolleyes

Same with my 3. They only huddle together when they're trying to hiude in their run because I'm trying to catch them to put them indoors! I gave up having more than 1 on my lap a long time ago - they want to stretch out in their own space and my lap can't hold them all!

I have piggies who prefer to sleep alone on another floor and others who like to snuggle up for at least part of the night. Sleeping apart is pretty normal and nothing to worry about.

I think my Sancho would like to be close to Floris all the time, but she won't permit it. If Floris decides she likes the look of Sancho's bed more than her own she just hangs out at the opening rumble strutting until he takes the bait (he thinks he's going to get laid). Once he's out, in she pops. She always looks so pleased with herself for fooling him...and then looks to see where he will go next...hmmm perhaps where he is now is even MORE comfy than this...and off she goes...trrrrrr :))
