piggies test home made cuddle cups!

as our house is now so cold we can see our breath, I'm worried about the poor piggies getting cold, so spent most of the day making cuddle cups instead of doing uni work ;D

the first one i made was too small for fat bob ;D he could get in but not out ;D hed walk in face first with his butt sticking out and id have to pull him out ;D

so my housemates piggies are using the smaller one i made an extra large fat boy cuddle cup to fit bob. unfortunately i only had enough fleece for 2 cuddle cups at the min, so bob and munchie have 1 to share, and vincent and cid (housemates piggies) have 1 to share. eventually they ill have one each

any way, ill shut up now, heres the pics of som very happy warm piggies!

bob moved the cup so it was upright and he was sat in the bottom. anyone for a cup of bob?

munchie slept for about 2 hours in the cup he loved it that much <3

I made my own too and they love them. My stitching is terrible but its held up being washed several times. I think our piggies will love them more as they were made with lots of love from their Mummys lol. :smitten:

lol it wasnt hard to make O0 i just cut some fleece into a long wide strip, and sewed down one side, and at one end, and then folded it down so it was half the length but double thickness, (like when you roll up a sleeve) and sewed the bottom again. then turned it instde out, which hides the stitching

Ebay sell fleece or search out cheap fabrics!

as S+T said, try ebay, or a market, if you have one near by. i got mine from a market.

a meter of fleece makes 2 regular cups, and 1 fatboy cup ;D

i need to buy more fleece for my second fatboy cuddle cup ;D

so i reckon if you have 4 fully grown piggles, a meter and a half should be enough for 4 cups depending on how neat your chopping up is ;D mine was a bit wonky ;D

if only 2 piggles, a meter is easier to get, and you could make 2 fatboy ones out of that ;D

ps. my fat boy cuddle cup is a few inches wider than the regular one, to allow turning/wiggling space for bigger piggies, otherwise, they climb in and you have a chunky bum sticking out at you ;D ;D

I have 7 piggies. 6 are regular size, and one is a fat girl, so I'm gonna need a lot of fleece!

that way you have spare if theres any probs/wonky cutting
