PIGGIES TURN TO HELP POORLY SLAVE.

Hello how awful for you - it is very difficult - once the antibiotics kick in you will feel much better ! And the swelling will quickly go down. A warm flannel applied to the swelling can make it a bit comfortable. It’s lovely your piggies are looking after you - they just radiate love don’t they ! Sending you a BIG ‘get better soon’ hug 🥰
Thank you. Big hugs xx

Oh Dave, that looks and sounds so painful. Glad you have the furry ladies to cheer you up, they do have a sixth sense, I believe.

I have now developed toothache in sympathy Dave. I'm phoning up my dentist first thing tomorrow. Problem is its over an hour's drive as haven't been able to find a local dentist since we moved last year.

Oh no.
I blame me x

It must be 20 years since I went to a dentist I am terrified. I know I've been very lucky so far not to need one but also know my time will come.....😱 you have my sympathies (but also a teeny bit glad it's not me 🙈)

I have just phoned my dentist. I was asked some questions by the Receptionist, which tooth was it, what was the pain like etc. My dentist will then phone me later and "do a phone triage" to see how urgent it is. To me the pain is getting worse. So it is urgent! I am going away in 10 days so I need it to be sorted by then.

@David Piggie Lover and @Betsy There must be something in the air. I had to go to emergency dentist this morning. I have been living with a loose crown on a molar. But It got worse and I was concerned about the damage. So I went at 9 am. and it was fully removed and restuck. No pain. Wonderful.
However I had to make an appointment in September to continue with the root canal treatment that started in March before lock down.

Well after a complete nightmare of a trip to see my dentist where I used to live, (lashing rain, slow traffic because of puddles, a delivery van up the bank so one lane of the A31 was closed, a closed road that I needed to take to actually get to my dentist so I had to take a diversion) I FINALLY arrived at the dentist. Lucky I left 2 hours early! The dentist could find nothing wrong with my tooth but said that if the pain got worse or there was a lump in the gum, I was to phone back. If the tooth needed to be removed I would be added to the very long waiting list (currently 4 months in Hampshire :yikes: :yikes: she wasn't sure about Dorset but it was probably the same!). The drive home was only slightly better. There was an accident on the M27 (4 Fire Engines, 2 Ambulances, 2 Police Cars, 1 Traffic Officer) so 1 lane was blocked. The delivery van up the bank on the A31 was still there. The only positive thing was it had stopped raining! It took 1 hr 34 mins to get to the dentist and 1 hr 15 to get home! It is 40 miles on fast roads and usually takes about an hour.
