Teenage Guinea Pig
Hello TGPF, just to let you know a bit about myself, I have two piggies, Pickles and Pumpkin who are both 7 years old and are lovely girls! I haven't been active on here in quite some time but a piggie related dilemma has drawn me back!
I am off to uni in September to study midwifery and I'm staying in halls. Due to many complicated circumstances, the girls are unable to stay at home so I'm looking for some advice on what to do with two old ladies whilst I'm there! I live in Reading, and I'm actually studying in reading too, but living in halls. I'm getting concerned as to what my options are with the girls as, because they're getting on a bit, they need someone experienced who would know when to take them to the vets etc (although *touch wood* both of their healths are fine!)
If anyone has any advice or faced a similar situation, input would be so much appreciated!
