Piggies Unwilling To Eat New Veggies!

They are being very fussy recently! We have recently tired and failed with

Baby courgette, mange tout, stringless beans, peas in the pod, cauliflower - not to keen on carrots but did have a good go with them.

Not keen on corn on cob, baby corn, spinach, swede or watermelon.

The only things they look forward to are romaine lettuce, broccoli, kale, cucumber, parsley sometimes entertain bell peppers

Any ideas for other veggies your pigs enjoy? I worry they will get bored of that same few things
 
You need to persevere with piggies, they are very strange little creatures. They'll decided they don't like something for ages and then will suddenly eat it.

One of my boars came from a home where he only got carrot, and for weeks he would only eat carrot. I gave him a variety of veg every day and ended up throwing most of it away. But one day he tried the other stuff and ate it. Nowadays he'll eat almost anything.
 
Another thing you could try is cutting the vegetables into different shapes/sizes as this worked with my 2 older girls off my sister. They wouldn't touch bell peppers even though I knew how my sister cut them up. They now have it diced up instead of slices.
 
I've yet to meet a piggy that eats courgette! Your piggies are less fussy than my two...
 
I will also try the different shapes, haven't really thought of that. Lily is an adventurous piggie and loves to try new things, but George is a right old stick in the mud - new veggies, fruits, environments, and people are all treated with great suspicion!
 
My piggys will only entertain carrot if it is strips made with a potato peeler, they don't do chunks! Tonight crumbs came wheeking up to the edge of the cage & I offered her same kale which she guzzled last week, she turned her nose up at it & kept wheeking. She then turned her nose up at little gem lettuce & kept wheeking! Finally she was happy with her yellow pepper! #weemadame
 
Haha! Piggies, eh? Such fussy little fellows! George will basically only eat carrot, chicory and romaine lettuce now, though he loves his hay. And he adores a slice of banana - reserved for special occasions such as after the ordeal of nail clipping. I also get the look of disdain when I dare to offer anything else!
