Hi

I've never seen this behaviour before, but it seems that since we adopted our new boy Pickle a couple of weeks ago, our dominant boy Blaze has started to do the rumbling thing when all three are on floor time (in two seperate pens) and seems to be pushing his younger boy Scampy out the way by barging at him and kicking his back leg up and squirting what I imagine may be pee at him! Is this normal?! Back in their cage they seem to be fine, I'm just a tad concerned about their bickering when in close proximity to newbie Pickle.

Any advice appreciated!
Thanks, Julie

wow never had this trouble with mine but it sounds like dominating behaviour to me if pickle has any sense he will give them both a wide berth poor scampy hes going to smell pretty bad soon lol

I have heard that guineas (usually females) will urinate on a boar if his attention is unwanted.

I started trying to introduce my 2 new grils to my already bonded boy and 2 girls. I had never encountered this behaviour before, untill then. It was quite ammusing to watch. Poor Harry! ;D

Hi, thanks for the replies - its really hard trying to get any info off the internet, I can't seem to find any! My firiend at work has piggies the same age almost as mine, and hers do the same thing from time to time. I'm just a bit concerned that the arrival of Pickle has upset Scampy and Blaze's bond.
