My brother took the dogs out yesterday as he does everyday when Ammo started sniffing and pawing at a box, when he went to investigate and open it he found a a piggy and bunny inside.

The piggy is very small and underweight as well as being terrified, she has bites all over her from the bunny and has runny eyes.

The rabbit is very very fat, and her breathing isn't sounding too good.

This is them after they have had the night to settle in(the rabbit wreck her cage during the night)

Any name suggestions would be appreciated.

They will be available for adoption once they are fit and well. The rabbit will be neutered, vaccinated and microchiped before rehoming.

oh bless that little piggy is the cutest! people shock me why didnt they give them to someone instead of just leaving them its such a shame some people just shouldnt be allowed to have pets!

Yes some people amaze me too. But they can't be bothered to look after them , so they wouldn't want to be bothered to take them to a rescue. Too much trouble.pow-pow

How lucky you found them, it always amazes me that people would do that. I'm going to be on my look out an case any boxes I pass have creatures in....

So pleased they have you! What an awful thing to happen to them but at least they have you.

I feel for them both - are they going to the vets for the breathing and bites?

its so sad but I'm glad there safe with you xx
i think you should call the bunny :
Bonnie..because she is very bonny:)
and the guinea:
Precious...because she is very precious

Thank goodness he found them. Makes me so mad that people just dump animals. grrrr

Hopefully with some tlc they will both pick up and be happy again. x

aaw how could someone do that?

and how lucky are they to find you! its fate. i hope they get better soon x

Thank goodness your brother found them, I deffo think the bunny should be called Lucky and the guinea Precious.

I hope they're back to full health soon and find new loving homes:)

Awwwwwwwww the rabbit is beautiful!! Id be dangerous if I didnt have Dave to tell me no ha ha id adopt them all! x

Both the bunny and piggy seem to be settling in well, although the piggy is terrified, the bunny seems very friendly and inquisitive. They will still be of to the vets soon for a full check up.

Although I have just been to check on the rabbit and she appears to be making me a lovely nest. Can we have some not pregnant vibes please!

Why didnt they just sell them? I mean just leaving them? Why not make cash?
Enough questions. They are super cute :P

So glad they were found - very lucky animals indeed!

I do hope the bunny isn't pregnant - mine has been nesting too, I think it's Spring in the air!
