This is just to let everyone know that I am now making piggy beds as well as cozies and other cage accessories.

Here is a single bed in dinosaurs fleece lined with red fleece. I will be making stock in all of my other patterned fabrics and will as usual be able to make any item to order.

This single bed is £8 including postage. I will also be making larger beds for £10 including postage.

Here is Sweetie trying out the single bed:

Thanks for giving me the push to make them, Petra. It had been on my to-do list for a while, but had never quite got to the top. You gave me an incentive to get around to making them.

Fantastic - I have some of these that were donated to us and some of the piggies seem to like having the sides around them and an open top - hope they sell well!

I also have a few of these types of bed - my piggies and bunnies love them :) Have to say I paid an awful lot more than £8/£10 for them ............................rolleyes

Ooh, this is just what I have been looking for. Naughty Eliza has started to sit on top of the cosy mallethead so I think one of these beds will be right up her street :) I will have to wait until I get paid in a couple of weeks but I will definitely be placing an order :) I am thrilled to bits that you are making these beds Pollie xx

That's great Claire. Do feel free to place an order in advance of payday as it will help me avoid a backlog at the end of the month!

Teresa: I should have checked with you before setting my prices!

The beds look great Pollie, may have to order one when Gertie gets her little sister as am sure they will not always want to share the cozie you made.

Thanks Pollie, she is settling in well thanks and has now decided she likes us especially cuddles with Ross.

Ooohh i can hear poppy and pebbles shouting "We want one of those please", i was thinking of what else i could order for the piggies of you Pollie as my girls absolutely love the cozies and tunnel i got off you- i don't think they would be without them.

They use them all the time and they make the cutest sounds when they run into them- you know those happy piggie sounds :)

Anyway when i get paid i will definatly be ordering one of these!

Just a note to say that I really welcome orders in advance on payday. I can then make the items up in advance of payday and it helps me avoid a backlog of orders at the end of the month.

Woohoo, my piggie bed has arrived - thanks very much Pollie! It is absolutely gorgeous x) i can't wait to get home and give my girls their pressie :)

Heres some piccies of the piggie bed(Not including piggie yet:)), it is dark pink and light pink colour with hearts on it (And is reversible as you can see) the perfect colour for my girlys:

I love these and would love one for Jimmy and George in the dinosaur fabric. Can you tell me how big they are though please so I can see if it will fit in their sleeping compartment first - thank you :)

Roll on payday is all I can say! drool

Oh, this is wonderful! They look stunning. And the prices are to die for.

I'm already bookmarking what I'm going to order :(|)

As you can see, Eleanor, Eliza and Erin are very impressed with their piggy beds. They still have to try the second one out but this one was most definitely a success.

I'm sorry I didn't see this post until now, Lynne.

The beds are about 11 inches diameter. If you needed a smaller one I could make one to your specifications as all of my items are made to order.

How do you make them?/

You need a sewing machine! They are quite straightforward but more difficult than a cozy.

Google 'how to make a cuddle cup' and you will find instructions.

These beds are georgeous - I would love two in the reversable pink heart fabric as posted in pics earlier in this thread, if you can still do that fabric.. if not any pink fabric will be ok for my girls:))! I don't think I can pm yet, please tell me how I can order...

thanks

Hello Tinky,

Thanks for your order.

I actually make the beds in pink fabric and sew the hearts on by hand. Would that be OK?

All of the beds and cozies are fully reversible and fully washable at 40 degrees.

Payment for two beds would be £15 including postage. Please send payment by paypal to [email protected]. I prefer payments to be marked as personal and a gift so that I can pass the money saved in paypal fees directly to the rescue. Please also include your address in the comments section of the form.

If you don't have a paypal account I can accept cheques, but you will have to wait until you have 50 posts for me to be able to send you my address!

hi thanks - yes that's absolutely fine, they look fab!

I have got a paypal account - do I send you payment now and then you start on the order ? I've only used paypal once through ebay so hopefully I'll figure out how to use it @)@) :))

Hello Tinky,

It's up to you. I have been fundraising for so long that most people on the forum are now happy to send money to me in advance of me making up the items. If you prefer, I could let you know when the beds are ready and you could pay me then.

To make a payment via paypal you simply sign into your account from the paypal homepage, click on send money and then enter the details. If you prefer you can check out two beds via my website: www.cavycozies.com The only thing about my website is that it doesn't offer postage discounts so you would have to pay £1 more. However, because you are then buying goods you would be protected by paypal in case of a dispute.

Whatever way you choose, I will probably make these beds up at the weekend and send them on Monday. I usually e-mail people the night before I send so that they know that the items are on their way.

I have a number of threads in the fundraising section of this forum and many, many forum users have placed orders. JackyB and Claire W have both placed two orders, for example. I have raised nearly £1500 for small animal rescues since Christmas and will soon be launching a new appeal!

I will have a go tomorrow sending via paypal, I am happy to do that, I have had a read at the threads on here :)

Look forward to giving them to my two girlie's. Well done on the money you have raised, that's brilliant :)
