Piggy Bunk Beds

When Romey first came Murphy was happy to share his bed with her as she just fitted in nicely

Some of you may remember this first pic of them when she moved in at 9 weeks.

Well now she is just over 4 months and weighs 778g she wont fit in with him anymore, so we have started getting her a wine box from asda with the shopping and she loves it having her own little house with a comfy towel to sleep on Murphy started climbing on top of the box so we decided to put his bed on top so now we have piggy bunkbeds. ;D

Pics abit dark but this is just how i have found them ready for bed.

Does any other people piggies like to sleep bunk bed style my girls Trinny and Susannah do the same Susannah quite often goes on top of Trinnys house even though they all have a house of their own. :)
 
Awww...so sweet! The boys don't do bunk bed style, but despite having a pigloo each, Minty seems to like to stand guard and sleeps in the main cage at night - I think he likes to protect Garry and Benjamin. You can find him in a pigloo in the day though...strange boy! :smitten:
 
Thats so cute! Fancy Romey sleeping in a wine box, little sweetie! They look very happy piggies.
Huxley slept in a shoe box in his cage while he was poorly and having his medecine!

I know sh is so classy ;D I n to fin hr a proppr b that is big nough for Murphys b to go ontop! Sh lovs th win box though for now plus sh gts a nw on vry wk from Asa sh has ha allsorts of colours! Sh wants a Pink champagn on nxt ;D

Couldn't do that with our pigs - if Jeremy got on top of a wine box he'd squash it (and the poor piggy inside!).

Tiger had a bath today Lindsay so will try and get a pic of his pjs!

Oh yeah we need to show everyone our Piggies Jarmas! No we have not gone totally 98) all will be revealed shortly wont it Katie? ;D
 
Awww! Thats so sweet! I have the same cage as you so they stay in that plastic grey thing it comes with. So i cant work out wether one is standing guard like MintyAndGarry's piggie, or the one that stays inside it kicks the other out so she has to sleep there. I'm just getting to know mine though, I've only had them for 4 days! They look like lovely piggies though. They're really at ease with you. Btw where did you get that bed? Is it a cat bed or something?

Ours dont use the plastic one that comes with it thats not in with them. I got Murphys bed from the Range it was about £7 i think it said that it was for small animals. Its smaller than a cat one. He loves it he sleeps with his chin on the edge of it like in the picture. :smitten:

Would like to see pictures of your piggies once they are settled. :)

Duke's houses are made from wine boxes too O0 he used to chew everything so i decided it was better to chew cardboard than plastic... and as there's a bit of wine drank around here ::) it's easy to grab the boxes and make new ones every couple of weeks or so O0
