What kind of piggy pellets do you use?
I use Oxbow alfalfa straight pellets, they are $6.99 for 2.25 kg here in the US.

I use pellets too. Pets at Home bag £6.99 bag lasts 3 weeks although this bag has lasted a month with Cuzzy not eating it as much.

A little worrying that someone clicked varying it from week to week. That can cause tummy upsets and any charge over such be gradual!

Most have wagg optimum although some of my residents have oxbow cavy cuisine O0

all of mine have been on pellets, either p@h or super excel, was told that cereal based food encourages too much selective eating. my boys and girls get fresh fruit and veg once a day, plus their pellets and hay.
And they scoff the lot!
I know wagg is cheaper, but do they eat it all though?

Trinny and Susannah have one with no name from the pet shop - kept them on the same as they were brought up on with previous owner. I have noticed recently that T & S are eating Honeys Wagg as they all live together so i will get them off their no name stuff as soon as the huge bag has run out.

Honey Bayou has Wagg muesli

Jimmy Joe and Murphy have Burgess Muesli.

I have some Burgess Excel Nuggets but no one likes it. lol

Violet eats P@H Nuggets
Olive, Fern, Peppa eat P@H Muesli
Rodney eats Gerty Guinea pig.

I tried to change him onto a better food, but he was having none of it. You name it i tried it.
I will be changing the girls onto P@H Nuggets soon.

pets at homes nuggets £3.49 bag lasts bout 4 weeks got 4 pigs. this may change as 3 new pigs coming sun, will have to get the bigger bag ;)

Burgess Supa Guinea Excel (which I would thoroughly recommend to anyone who asked!) and mix in a handful of Wagg Guinea Crunch -really just for the added colour and a bit of variety.

mine are all on P@H Nuggets but due to the cost of the food ,my mum wants to swap to muesli as it is cheaper to buy!i would rather keep them on nuggets as it stop`s them picking out the bits they like most

i use supa guniea pig excel but also buy P@H stuff depends if the excel stuff is in or not but my piggies prefer the excel stuff :) :)
