I have two boars who are around a year old one is an Abby/ridgeback cross and he is at a stable weight, I would say just right not too thin or chubby. The other is a coronet and he is gaining weight almost in front of my eyes, he is just under 3lbs now but he does have quite a chubby tummy and huge butt. He is definitely male (he has been neutered) so not pregnant. Honestly he is food obsessed like most piggies, when he sees the veggies coming he sprints and stands where the bowl goes. They get between them a cup of veggies twice a day, around 1/4 of a cup of nuggets and hay in a huge pile topped up twice a day. I am sure he is getting more than his fair share of the food although the other one is the dominant one.
So should I be worried about his weight gain?
How do I do something about it when they share a cage? I tried two bowls but he ate his fast then went to share the other bowl too!
Or am I stressing over nothing?
Thank you

Some piggies are bigger than others. Vimto was a big piggy but also the most active of her cagemates. She weighed 1.5kg at her biggest compared to her sisters at 1.1kg. She was perfectly healthy and active, just very large framed.
£ilbs is around 1.3kg, I wouldn't worry too much at that weight. Maybe split the food equally in piles in front of them so you know each is getting same amount.

Thank you, he is just huge compared to his brother....but then I am huge compared to my brother too ha ha!
