I brought my piggy out on the back deck for the first time in her playpen. She jumped over her playpen and off the deck landing on gravel. She then ran around the yard, seemingly happy as she made her little chitter noise she makes when we play. I didn’t want her escaping the yard so I ruined her fun and took her inside. She then got wide eyed and doesn’t want treats or anything. She has 2 little cuts. One under her nose and one on her bottom lip.. is she going to be okay?

unfortunately we cannot answer that. I would urge you to visit an emergency vet in order to get some pain relief and have a check up. This happened to me years ago with one of my first piggies and we were very lucky, she had a graze and broke a tooth under the gum line so it came out a few days later. It's always best to have a full check in case of broken bones or anything

It's good to see you agreeing with yourself :))
Just thought I would update the two of you, I called my vet to book her an appointment and they told me it was good I didn’t rush her in. She’s now doing much better, drinking water, running out to see me and letting me pet her. I'm still taking her in to see them but they said if I rushed her to the vet she would be more freightened and could die from the stress levels. Thank you for the help!

I'm dubious about the rushing her in making her worse because I've done it with pigs before but it's good that she's made improvements. Hopefully it's just the scratches and with pain relief she will continue making improvements

I was shocked to hear it to but it makes sense. Since she was in such huge shock, a car ride would scare her since shes only been in a car once. Thanks for all the help
