I'm sorry if this is in the wrong section.

I'm Need a good reputable boarding for my 2 Guinea's for a week from this Monday. Somewhere local to me in Bacup Lancashire.

Ive been ringing Guineaholidays i thing they used to be know as Rodent retreat but I'm struggling to get in contact .
Is there anywhere else that is know to North west members?

Thankyou

Are there any boarding kennels&catterys in your local area?
Most of them will cater for small animals, I work at a boarding kennels in Manchester and we look after a wide range of different animals. Hope someone can help x

Hi. I'm just down the road from you in Whitworth *waves*

I took my 4 piggies to Whittle valley pet hotel last summer for a week and they are staying there agin this summer. It is in Heywood not far from Birch Services http://www.whittlevalleypethotel.co.uk/ It is family run and they have piggies and bunnies of their own. The animals are boarded in hutches in a large barn. A sat nav will tell you to come off of the m62 but you can't so you are best to get clear instructions of how to get there if you phone them.

Oh I work right near there! At Birch Kennels. How strange I've never heard of it! I do prefer specialist piggie and bun bun places :D

How strange :) When I was looking for a boarding place, I did come across Birch Kennels but chose Whittle Valley as they are a small animal hotel :))

Yeah we mainly cater for dogs and cats but do have quite a few piggies and buns with us during the summer. I'm curious now, going to see if i know where that other place is :) It's nice to have places that mainly cater for smaller guests :)

Thanks to all for the repilys

this is normaly where we take them. But Kirstie who runs the small pet holding works away from the barn now. My concerns with this is ( and I apologise if I am completely wrong) that the pigs dont get there 'play time' in their indoor run. Also when I picked them up they where very damp. Being indoor pigs this worried me abit.

I agree there. The only problem is it is down a country lane so difficult to find but they explain where it is on the website and will happily tell you on the phone :)
