Piggy Licking My Hand

My 6 months old boar that I rescued a few weeks ago loves his cuddles.

He just licks my hand. Never known this before. Does it mean anything or Simply a sign of affection

My Gus, first piggy I got, cuddles up to me all the time and licks the life out of my chin and nose lol So cute how affectionate they can be (either that or I get food all over my face when I eat)
