Piggy Making Squeaking Noise When Going To Toilet

Hi all my friend recently brought two male piggy's both are 6months old she has noticed today that when one of them is going to the toilet mainly a poo he's making a squeaking sound does anyone know what this might be I'm on my way round there now to see him as I'm only a new piggy owner myself I'm not to sure what to advise her on many thanks x
 
It is more than likely a urine infection - he will need to see a vet for a proper diagnosis and a course of antibiotics - it will not go away on its own. - my vet charges £22 for the consultation and a few pounds for the antibiotics - ring around the local vets and see if any of them are exotics or have experience with guinea pigs.

Keep an eye out for a urinary tract infection (UTI); with temperature swings and lawn time, they are more common. Please see a vet if you see more signs of squeaking when pooing/peeing, increased urination, red/bloody or very stale smelling urine.

OK thank you I will let my friend know will piggy be OK until the morning or shall she try and find a vet tonight? Is there anything she can do in the mean time to make piggy more comfortable x
 
Hope the piggy is seeing the vet today and hes on the mend soon. She can give him extra cucumber to hell flush his bladder and make things a bit more comfortable, but the meds from the vet should do the trick x
 
Hi you sorry for the late reply had to take one of my fur babies to vets as he jumped out of my arms again and landed awkwardly yeah my friend took her guinea pig to vets he has a urine infection so is on antibiotics plus he has to have two injections of antibiotics poor little guy x
