Hello everyone! I've been keep my eye out for any piggies in need of a home and I think I may have fallen in love all over again! x)

Yes, for awhile there I thought I could never find another guinea pig that stole my heart like Spencer did. I had been looking on multiple websites like Kijiji, craigslist and local shelters (sometimes even out of country shelters) when I found two female guinea pigs named Claudia and Clare. I really wanted to get them but they were too far away and I was sort of rushing into it. :{

I waited and found a ad for a litter that had been born recently, so I emailed the person and asked if they had any left. She emailed me back and said they were almost all sold but that there was another litter that was due in a few weeks and that she would let me know right away when they were born. :)

I was really really hoping for girls and a few weeks latter I got a email saying it was a litter of three healthy girls! She sent me pictures and I gotta admit, I did have the same feeling that I had when I first saw Spencer's picture! x)

I begged my Mom to let my get the third one but she said there was no way we would have the room for it. They aren't ready yet so I'm going to go meet them in person within the next couple of weeks. All my friend have been coming up with names, and I was wondering if any you have ideas for cute names for girl piggies! Here are the pictures of both of them! xx>>>

I'm big on food names for piggies, I would go for Fudge and Whipped (like whipped cream since the second one has a beautiful whitish stripe in the middle). :)) :)p

Buttons and Oreo?
The second one looks just like an oreo! :))
Shame you cant get the third one, its sad that all three sisters can't stay together.

So what's the verdict, were all dying to know what names you have picked? x>>:Ayociexp113:

Thanks for the ideas everyone! xx>>> I got a big list of names and I still haven't picked one.

The other day I met the piggies and paid for them while I was there. They were SO cute!:<> They were calm and cuddly even though they were so small. they are over a month old and fit in just one hand! I've never held a baby GP this small before so it was kind of funny holding a miniature cavy and cuddling with it like how I used to cuddle Spencer 8...

I think I'm going to wait till I come back from my trip and I can bring them home and get to know them before I pick two names. Thanks again everyone! -c

Oh they are so cute and tiny! I feel so sad you cannot take their sister though. One more is not much extra. Cant you convince your mum?

Haha I already tried convincing her it wound't cost much extra. Since we live in a three bedroom town house space is kind of limited :( And my brother already said no to moving out of his room and into the basement for the piggies ;)

I think Ruby and Alice
My aunts are Ruby and Alice! Ruby is my father's sister, and Alice married my father's brother!

The first piglet looks like "Gumdrop", a plump little gumdrop. The second looks like "Marble." Really, look at some pictures of black and white veined marble, and it will remind you of this animal's fur pattern.

Okay, I just found out that we could be leaving on our vacation on August 16th. Which means that we'll be coming back on the 30th. We told the breeder that we'll be picking them up around 15th. :o

I was really hoping to be back soon so I would have plenty of time to bond with them and take them off the breeders hands. My mom said that we could always pick them up before we leave which would give me a week with them before we leave. I'll be gone for around a week and a half, so that means they'll be with in my friends care instead of me. :laluot_08:

I'd hate to impose on the breeder to keep them longer but I also know I wouldn't be able to enjoy my vacation that much knowing that they are bonding with SOME ELSE. 8...

I hate be such a drama queen to all of you. So, sorry :rose
Oh and here's a picture of Spencer I found while looking through some pictures.

Oh and do you think that they would bond with my friend more than me? Or am I just being paranoid? :Ayociexp118:

Shelly and Marcie :) I LOVE older names for piggies too so Dorothy, Dot, Phyllis,Penny, Betty, Blanche,

Oh he is so cute!x) Do not worry. It is way too short a time for him to bond with your friend. There is no problem there. It takes a long time for piggies to bond with people and get used to them.

MY girls are called,

Humbug, Treacle, Liquorice and Bon Bon.. I've had a Patch, Tickles, Marbles, Crackers (female black piggie) etc.. Honey is a nice name as is Bonny:)

GUESS WHAT? I just brought them home! drool

The breeder emailed me back to say that we could pick them up today, so we did! It was a long car ride and they were kind of scared at first. I put in a piece of watermelon in the carrier so they could get some liquids while they were in there. 'Brownie' (not her official name) took a nibble of it but they mostly just cuddled together. When we arrived home I cut up some pieces of apple and placed them around the cage. When I put them in the cage, they didn't really moved around much except Camela (a possible name for the stiped one, no idea how I got the idea, seems to be sticking though). They are both settled inside of the pigloo and nibbling on a bit of apple!

As soon as I got home it seemed like EVERYONE on the block wanted to see the piggies. No one understood why I only let them have a peek at them and why I wouldn't let them hold them.

It feels a little weird being a piggy mommy again. Bring them home reminds me of the day I brought Spencer home 8... No matter what that little boy who stole my heart will always be loved. x)

I'll post pictures soon! :<>

Oh this is wonderful to hear. You are doing all the right things to settle them iun before all sorts of strangers pick them up. I cannot wait to see the pictures.

Okay, I snapped a quick picture of them while I was cleaning their cage.
(the Brown one is turned around) :))

I was using the same med. size pigloo that I had for Spencer, Camela would go in it but brown would just sit outside. :/

So we went out and got two small ones and put it in the cage. Camela went in one but brown didn't go inside. They seemed to like the towel I had them wrapped up in so I wanted to put it in but brown was in the way. She actually let me pick her up! :<>

Once I put the towel in and after I snuggled with her I put infront of the pigloo. She went in, but a few minutes later I found out and Camela had snuggled inside the towel. Should I be worried that brown won't go in the pigloo or in a towel? ?/
