Was just wondering if anyone else has nicknames for their guineas...

Mine are referred to collectively as 'The Dweebs' (because of the noise they make - 'dweeeeb!) or The Gerbils (which my boyfriend calls them, just to annoy me!). By the way, if anyone wants a laugh, said boyfriend also refers to me as 'Gerbil Girl' (you know, like Bat Man! - pants on the outside, and a cape - anyone?) :))

My dad calls my piggies 'The Rats/Rodents'. He knows this annoys me and says it deliberately to wind me upgrrrrgrrrr

Mine are sometimes called the peeeegs, but more often than not they get called the rabble or hooligans because their hutches all look like there's been a riot in them.:)):)):))

I call Alfie ''the little fella'' (hes the smallest)and charlie ''the big fella'' and my hammy murphy gets ''the little man'' :))

:)):)):))Where's Pollie when you need her? You so need someone to make you a costume for this, lol.

This has made my evening (still grinning). :(|)

Nacho gets called nachy noodles or nachy noos, snowy is snowsnow, wiggle just gets shortened to wigs. The others just have slight variations on their names. OH calls them stupid pigs but just to wind me up, he loves them really.
They are generally known as the pigs or the wheekers or the babies :)

mallethead So busy chuckling at Sophie as Gerbil Girl I forgot to post my proper answer.

Flumpet is often known as Grumpy Flumpy (especially when she's in season) or sometimes Flumpet Strumpet; Delilah often goes by the name Dee. Together with Nelly the Elephant (my three-legged hamster), also known as Smelly Nelly, they are my Girly Girls. :(|)

haha we have a variety of names in our house

beanys, beany babies, we call craig a chicken but we pronounce it chickon. we call david the parsley monster to because he loves it. call them poo boys as well haha. they must think we are mad

Hahaha

Mine are just 'the girls' but they are always referred to as if they are my children rather than my pets. Ruby is sometimes called 'Rubes' and Chloe is "CloClo"

When we hatched baby chickens we called them the four black ones 'the rabble' because they would run around altogether taking all the food in the most undignified manner while the ginger one and yellow one ate tidily as far away as possible from them!

My mum also refers to them as 'the rats' to annoy me. she does that with my friends cockatiel too, she called it a budgie right from when it was young and it still says in this deep menacing voice 'budgiebudgiebudgiebudgiebudgie' very fast repeatedly at random intervals.

I obviously have got the "Tribe" or the "Horde" at mealtimes.

Mine are known as 'The Widjets' - absolutely no idea why :{

Also when my daughter kept gerbils they were known as 'Jub Jubs' :))

My girls are collectively called wheekles, piglet wiglets, wheeky pigs or girlie whirlies. The older trio are the big pigs and the younger trio are the mini wheeks.
