Hi everyone :)p

A few weeks ago, I remeber a post about finding other piggy owners in the Greater Manchester area and there were quite a few of us fairly close by.

If anyone is interested, we (my wife and two boars) would love to meet other piggies and owners in the area. I'm not sure how best to do it (obviously looking out of my window it will be an indoor event). We only have a small-ish two bedroom flat so we might not be able to accomodate a lot of owners AND piggies.

We could do sth along the lines of tea/coffee and meet our piggies one weekend and then move the venue every week. Anyone else interested?
 
Not sure if I could commit to a weekly thing but I would love to come to a couple!
 
Ok,

Once every few weeks (does't have to be as rigid as that) looks more suitable then. My wife's back on Monday so I'll speak to her then. I think we'd be happy to host the first one unless anyone has a better plan :)
 
What a shame, i used to live in Manchester and only knew one person with pigs who i'd met through squeaky pigs forum back in the day! I'd have loved to have come joined you. Hope it's fun :-) xx
 
I could make it to a couple :) Liquorice says she's like to come too, but she's a bit shy with new people:))
 
I'd love to come and meet up with everyone. Again as others have said I probably couldn't do a weekly thing mainly due to my job/shifts but i'm interested in a meet up!:)
 
Wow, helloooo everyone :)

I'm picking my wife up later so at some point this week I'll propose a date. If my wife is keen, I suggest something like tea/coffee with cake/nibbles at our place for owners only (not enough space for visiting piggies and thhe weather won't be good enough to go outside I shouldn't imagine).

Helloooo everyone,

My wife thinks it's a great idea. The only problem we have is that for the next two weekends, she'll be working. So, we could host on Saturday, 23rd October. Tea/coffee cakes and nibbles ect. at ours for owners and a chance to meet Biscuit and Caramel :)

If anyone is interested and can make it please PM me and we'll organise it. If anyone would prefer to host in the meantime that would also be great :)

I didn't seem to get a response to the idea of a meet up this weekend so I'm guessing nobody's free.

How about we suggest some dates that might work for everyone. I lecture on Tuesdays but apart from that, I work freelance so I can pretty much be free whenever suits you all :)

We live in Salford, next door to Machester and are really easy to get to. Please let me know as it would be great to organise a meet up :)

I'm pretty much in the middle of you two I'm in Bolton. My dad lives in Salford too, whereabouts are you? :)

I think it'd be nice to meet up and can do pretty much any of the first few weekends in November :)
 
Oh you know what, i would love to make it too, but it all depends on travel and dates really due the fact i live in Morecambe, and no one BUT no one round here seems to have piggies? what??

I really want to go to Hels in November too, but again its miles and miles, but i got my boys from there and would like to show some support
 
OK,

So a few people now are interested. I suggest we look at some dates which would work for everyone.

We live in Blackfriars in Salford (I'll send my address in a PM to everyone who's interested).

Please post some dates which work for you. We can do any weekend in November apart from the weekend of the 5th (we're away for my wife's birthday). So for those of you who are a little bit more restricted for travel and dates, we'll fit it around you :)
 
I'm away that weekend, too, but can do a Saturday or Sunday if told the date in advance.
 
Hi I'd love to come too :) I'm available any evening as long as it isn't a Thursday evening since I have a lecture then :(

I think a weekend would be best for all of us and we could maybe do a Saturday lunch time. How is everyone for 20th November?
