I've got a nice sized play pen for the piggies which they seem to love:)):))
What should I use for the flooring? I've tried newspaper but you have to use 3-4 thicknesses to stop the urine soaking through which by then there's a couple of newspapers down which gets all messy.
Is there any other flooring for the playpen to stop them damaging the carpet and is easy to clean and pack up?
Thanks:)

i have used lino and an old shower curtain, and i saw once on here someone used a paddling pool which i thought was well cool!

I have a piece of plastic tablecloth,I got an off cut from Dunelm where they sell it on the roll.1m did my indoor run and it cost £2.99.I then put fleece on top. It's great as it protects the carpet and is wipeable.

If I put Lino down in the play pen how hard is it to clean off?
Does the fleece need washing each time, how much time does this take?
Thanks?

I just wipe over my plastic talblecloth.I have large fleece i use and wash it when needed depending on how long piggies spend in there. It's easy to wash and dry, just make sure you try and get rid of hay etc as it may clog your washer.I've never had a problem.

I've just bought the same.

I just spray and wipe down but if you wanted a good clean, you could pop the lino/PVC cloth down on the kitchen floor and give it a mop :)

I use a plastic tablecloth with towels and fleece on top.... works great. I pop a kitten litter tray in the corner lined with newspaper and hay under a hay rack, most wee's were done in there. :))

I use plastic table mats (I've got ten in all) which i bought from David Fox, which is a hardware store here, for 50p each and i just line them down in the toilet and sleepy areas in the play pen then line an old bath towel over the top which works great for me :)

I use picnic blankets. They are waterprof with fleece on top and I like them. I don't wash them after every use, it's ok to shake the poops out and air it out a bit.
