hello, was just searching through here with my piggy on comp desk on a towl thankfully. n he has just pooped. now I'm not kiddin you the smell was somethink again and one bit of poo has like a jelly looking mucus blob on it, is this normal. now jerry had his first time in the run yesterday on grass as his leg is better now so put him out with ben, n I'm guessing its his 1st time out on grass ever considering where i got them from, has he just binged on grass or is this a common kind of poo

when i say it stunk it actually took my breath away, so for a lil fella its pretty bad lol I'm wondering weather he just mega stuffed himself on all the grass clover n dandylion leaves lol

duno weather it was just cuz he was right infront of me, but iv never smelt anythink so bad loljust put him bk in his cage, once again bk to the food, hes gona b e fatty, he was so under weight when i had him, hes got vets again at 3, think he gonna b shocked how bulky he got with in the week, he feels much better which I'm pleased abuot, all fresh fruit and veg too, spoilt little piggy lol

Dietary is quite likely, first time on grass yesterday could be to blame, worth giving him less time on the grass next time if you can. I found mine had more fragrant poops when I first gave them dried grass but it soon settled down when they were given the grass regularly. For now I'd just keep an eye on the poops, make sure they don't soften too much.

Also, some types of veg will lead to more odorous poop. Any of the brassica family - cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, kale, brussels sprouts.
