Hi claire yep its shavings my two love it i tried them on hay and fleece but they didnt seem to like it as they seem to like burrying each other in the shavings lol

we considered trying ours with fleece - do you think they are too old now to introduce it as they may be stuck in their ways :(|)

also is it just your standard run of the mill fleece blankets that you buy?

I'm not sure actually i just used normal fleece that you can buy like from furniture places but mine didnt seem to like it.

I put Max on fleece a couple of weeks ago and he has loved it! I just bought 2 cheap fleece throws from Asda (Think it was £3 for 2) so I have one in and one being washed. So much easier than shavings - much less mess! I haven't got inco pads yet - that is next on my list! Just wrap fleece in a towel that needs changed at most every second day
